Ruvna and Noonlight announce strategic partnership supporting K-12 schools to reduce emergency response times

Ruvna, a safety platform for K-12 schools, has announced a new strategic partnership with emergency response provider Noonlight.

The two organizations have launched Runva 911, which will provide automatic alerts to first responders when school staff initiate an emergency event, removing the need for separate 911 calls. Runva 911 should also reduce critical response times.

"Every second matters during a school emergency, and staff shouldn't lose time placing phone calls or switching systems," explains Joey Nutinsky, CEO at Ruvna. "Ruvna 911 Connect removes those barriers by instantly alerting first responders with critical information the moment an event is initiated. This partnership with Noonlight helps schools act faster, communicate smarter, and keep their communities safer—without adding complexity."

The partnership aims to prevent time lost to dialling 911, sharing location details, and explaining the situation, during an emergency.

Runva 911 automatically contacts police, fire, or medical services based on pre-set event types. It also shares precise location data and incident details directly with first responders.

"When lives are on the line, schools need technology that works automatically and without hesitation," adds John Tassone, President at Noonlight. "Our partnership with Ruvna strengthens emergency response in schools—delivering critical information to first responders with the speed, accuracy, and context needed to protect students and staff."
