STEM Racing partners with Maaden on new online learning platform and the first STEM Racing Centre of Excellence

Maaden, a Saudi Arabian mining company, has announced a new partnership with STEM Racing and the Global STEM Education Partnership.

Supported by the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, the partnership will create an online learning platform as well as the first ever Motorsport Valley STEM Racing Centre of Excellence.

The Centre will provide access to lessons on CAD design, aerodynamics, CNC machining, project management, and marketing.

The new online platform will provide classroom resources and self-led modules to support STEM education in schools over three years. It aims to reach more than 100,000 students across the world with hands-on learning experiences and support for communities with limited access to STEM education.
The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team will also provide expert voices from motorsport.

“For over 25 years, we’ve brought the excitement of Formula 1 into the classroom - sparking curiosity, building skills, and unlocking the potential of young people worldwide. With this partnership, we’re scaling that impact like never before. Together with Maaden and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, we’re proud to be launching this global initiative to equip students with knowledge, inspiration, and hands-on experience,” says Andrew Denford, Founder and Chairman at STEM Racing.

“Discovering and developing the brightest minds - regardless of background - has always been core to our mission. This is about unlocking opportunity and giving students the tools to thrive in their future careers. We’re confident this partnership will help shape the future of motorsport, and more importantly, empower young people across the globe to thrive in STEM and beyond.”

Debbie Wall, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team ESG Director adds: “At Aston Martin Aramco, we believe that creating a more sustainable future begins with investing in young people. Through initiatives like Make A Mark and programmes such as STEM Racing, we’re helping to unlock talent and inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and leaders who will drive the future of our sport and our planet.”
