Skillsoft launches Skillsoft Percipio, an AI-native skills intelligence platform aiming to support  future workforces

Skillsoft, a provider of AI-powered workplace learning solutions, has launched the Skillsoft Percipio platform, which claims to be the first AI-native skills intelligence platform.

Skillsoft Percipio aims to provide an all-in-one platform that supports workforces to close critical skills gaps.

“Every company is racing to adapt to a reality where skills are the new driver of performance, and most of what they will need in the next few years is still unknown,” says Ron Hovsepian, Chief Executive Officer at Skillsoft.

“This is more than an HR initiative – it is a strategic business-wide imperative. The next-generation Skillsoft Percipio is built for this moment, putting humans and AI on the same skills map so leaders can see capability in real time, deploy talent with precision, and unlock the full potential of their Skillforce.”

Skillsoft Percipio delivers core capabilities and an innovation roadmap. It also includes the new LX Design Studio, which allows organizations to build their own custom scenarios and full courses in minutes.

Organizations will be able to use the tool to tailor their existing content and embed new AI-generated content into daily workflows, making learning faster and more impactful.

"Thriving in an AI-enabled workplace demands a shift from outdated, content-driven learning to skills-focused development and learning in the flow of work,” adds Amy Loomis, Group Vice President, Workplace Solutions at IDC. “By integrating skills intelligence, learning, and talent management in a single system, Skillsoft Percipio will play a pivotal role in enabling organisations to gain a competitive edge in the age of agentic AI.”
