Procare Solutions adds continuing education to ChildPlus Head Start platform to support staff certification
Procare Solutions has introduced continuing education courses to its ChildPlus platform, offering Head Start staff a pathway to certification and compliance through IACET-accredited training.

Procare Solutions, a U.S.-based child care software provider, has expanded its ChildPlus platform to include continuing education options for Head Start staff.
The company says the update aims to support professional development and regulatory compliance across Head Start programs.
ChildPlus Learning Plans now include training packages on topics such as data management, DRDP (Desired Results Developmental Profile), and PIR (Program Information Report) reporting. These training modules are available in various formats and are designed for immediate use in early learning environments.
The updated offering includes access to Child Development Associate (CDA) credential pathway training. These courses are certified by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), meeting standards for continuing education across all 50 U.S. states.
ChildPlus users can pursue CDA pathway courses without paying separate fees for course materials, though CDA Council fees are not included.
Expanded compliance and training options
According to Procare, the addition of continuing education addresses ongoing licensing and professional development requirements for educators in Head Start programs. The company states that the courses are designed to be cost-effective and accessible for program administrators and staff.
Joe Gomes, CEO at Procare Solutions, says: “Access to high-quality continuing education is essential for Head Start staff to meet licensing requirements, grow their professional skills, and provide the best care for children and families. With these enhancements, ChildPlus Learning Plans offer a comprehensive solution that combines training, support, and professional development to meet today’s demands.”
