Globeducate teams with Teachmate on pilot examining how AI can benefit teachers and students
Globeducate, an international school group, has partnered with AI education assistant Teachmate to pilot the use of AI in 12 schools in several European countries and Morocco.

More than 900 teachers and school leaders will be given access to Teachmate’s suite of AI-powered resources in a bid to reduce workload, support planning, and improve wellbeing in the classroom.
Globeducate will gather feedback from the schools and measure the real-world impact of the technology before rolling it out more widely.
“We’ve learnt that technology alone doesn’t transform education, thoughtful implementation does. Teachmate AI is different. Rather than adding another plate for teachers to spin, it’s designed to help existing plates spin themselves,” explains Richard Human, Head of AI at Globeducate.
The group hopes to focus on teacher wellbeing, with a dedicated survey for pilot teachers assessment how the introduction of AI is affecting staff workload and overall satisfaction.
“This isn’t just about whether the technology works, it’s about whether it genuinely improves teachers’ working lives,” Human adds. “If our AI support becomes another source of stress, we’ve failed. The wellbeing data will help us understand the real human impact of these changes.”
So far, Globeducate says feedback has been “overwhelmingly positive”.
One early years teacher involved in the pilot comments: ““I have to admit I was a little nervous when I was told we have this AI tool to use. My husband is an engineer specialising in AI, so he encouraged me to give it a try – and I’m really glad I did. Teachmate is definitely one of the best available because it’s designed specifically for teachers. I’ve been using it a lot to create individualised worksheets and flashcards for EYFS. It saves so much time and is so easy to use.”
