Noel joins Adtalem’s senior leadership team with a remit to align corporate affairs with business growth across its healthcare education institutions.

Adtalem Global Education, a publicly listed provider of healthcare education programmes in the United States, has appointed Megan Noel as its new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, effective immediately.

The company operates multiple institutions that provide healthcare education to over 90,000 students across the United States.

In her new role, Noel will lead corporate affairs functions, including communications, investor relations, government relations, impact initiatives, and alumni engagement. She joins Adtalem’s senior leadership team and will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Steve Beard.

The appointment forms part of Adtalem’s broader strategy to integrate stakeholder engagement with institutional growth, as the company continues to operate across a network of healthcare-focused education providers in the United States.

Responsibilities span internal and external engagement

Noel will be responsible for unifying the company’s communications across a range of internal and external audiences, including nearly 10,000 employees, 94,000 students, and 350,000 alumni. According to the company, her remit will also cover strategic messaging to investors, policy stakeholders, and partner organisations.

Steve Beard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Adtalem Global Education, says: “I am delighted to announce Megan Noel as Adtalem Global Education’s new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. Megan is a singular talent—a visionary leader with an unmatched ability to build credible influence at the highest levels and seamlessly align internal narratives with external realities.

“Her proven expertise in transforming corporate affairs into a strategic powerhouse that activates engagement across multiple audiences makes her the ideal leader to elevate Adtalem’s brand, strengthen our stakeholder connections, and amplify our impact in the communities we serve. Megan’s appointment marks a pivotal step in our journey to distinguish our institutions and drive sustained growth in a dynamic market.”

Noel adds: “I'm thrilled to join Adtalem to lead our corporate affairs team during this pivotal growth period. By unifying our stakeholder engagement strategy, we'll strengthen relationships with investors, policymakers, healthcare partners, alumni and communities. I'm particularly excited about our mission to expand access to knowledge that transforms lives and enables careers—directly addressing the healthcare provider gap in the U.S.”

Background includes senior roles at Golin, PwC and Edelman

Before joining Adtalem, Noel served as Global President of Corporate Affairs at Golin, where she was part of the agency’s executive leadership team. Her previous experience includes leading corporate affairs for PwC in the US and Mexico, where she oversaw executive communications, media strategy, internal messaging, and public affairs. She also advised the firm on brand strategy and reputational risk, and led the rollout of its first AI positioning initiative.

Noel’s earlier roles include nearly a decade at Edelman, working across sectors on crisis communication, corporate positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
