HopSkipDrive adds two new members to its Safety Advisory Council who will also partner on its educational programs

HopSkipDrive has welcomed Jenifer Eaton and Steve Nederveld to its Safety Advisory Council The two will also contribute to its CareDrive educational program, adding specialized education into its onboarding process.

Formed in May this year, the Safety Advisory Council guides HopSkipDrive’s innovation in youth transportation safety. Insights from the council directly inform product development as the company continues to expand its offering of services for students with specialized transport needs.

Nederveld brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership in crisis response, safety and trauma-informed care within educational settings. He was previously Director of Mental Health for Cherry Creek Schools and will support HopSkipDrive as it aims to create the industry’s most empathetic speciality transport system.

Eaton is Co-founder at Rooted in Play, a behavioral health care specialist and holds a masters in developmental psychology from Columbia University. She will directly inform HopSkipDrive’s new education courses.
