This edition focuses on Best Career and Skills Development Platform, a category recognizing tools that help students or adult learners build practical skills, earn credentials, and explore clear career pathways. Entries should demonstrate alignment with workforce needs, strong adoption, and real-world outcomes in employability or progression.
What this category covers
This category highlights platforms designed to bridge the gap between education and employment. Eligible entries include solutions used in schools, colleges, universities, training providers, and workforce development programs.
Entries may include solutions for:
career exploration and pathway planning
skills development and competency-based learning
micro-credentials, certifications, or digital badges
employability and work-readiness programs
employer-aligned curriculum or skills frameworks
internships, apprenticeships, or placement preparation
workforce analytics and progression tracking
adult reskilling, upskilling, or lifelong learning
Solutions must demonstrate meaningful use by learners or institutions.
What judges will look for
Judges will assess whether the platform delivers measurable outcomes linked to employability, skills progression, or career readiness.
Entries should address:
the workforce challenge or skills gap the platform is designed to address
how the solution aligns learning with employer or industry needs
evidence of learner adoption, completion, or progression
measurable outcomes such as job placement, promotion, certification, or further study
how data or insights support guidance, advising, or decision-making
feedback from learners, educators, employers, or partners
Strong submissions will show a clear link between skills development and real-world impact.
How to strengthen your submission
Entrants are encouraged to explain how labor market data, employer input, or sector research informed the design of the platform. Judges value evidence that solutions reflect real workforce demand.
Submissions will be strengthened by:
clear outcome data related to employment or progression
case studies showing learner journeys or career transitions
examples of employer engagement or partnership
evidence of scalability across sectors, regions, or learner groups
Demonstrating how the platform supports long-term career development will strengthen the overall submission.

To enter, download an entry form or submit via the link below. The entry deadline is Friday, 27 March 2026. The shortlist will be announced on Tuesday, 2 April 2026, and winners will be revealed on Monday, 27 April 2026.
Entry costs £80 per submission, or £150 for two or more entries. Payment can be made via our website. Once your entry form and payment have been received, confirmation will be sent by email.
