Team4Tech opens applications for Experience AI cohort for North American nonprofits

The nonprofit accelerator has opened applications for a six-week cohort focused on AI literacy, as demand grows for structured support in delivering artificial intelligence education to young learners.

Team4Tech took to LinkedIn this week to announce that applications are now open for a new Experience AI cohort aimed at nonprofits based in the United States and Canada.

The program is scheduled to run from February 19 to March 26, 2026, and will accept up to eight participating organizations.

Team4Tech works with education-focused nonprofits to build organizational capacity through technology training, coaching, and volunteer-led support, with a focus on employability and digital skills in under-resourced communities.

The Experience AI cohort centers on an artificial intelligence curriculum developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in partnership with Google DeepMind. The materials are designed for teachers and students aged 11 to 14 and introduce core concepts in artificial intelligence and machine learning without requiring prior technical knowledge.

According to Team4Tech, the six-week cohort combines live virtual sessions with self-paced learning and coaching. Participating nonprofits are expected to nominate two to four staff members and commit approximately 10 to 12 hours across the program.

Focus on practical delivery and organizational readiness

The cohort is positioned as a professional development opportunity rather than a student-facing pilot. Participating staff will work through the Experience AI lessons themselves, with the aim of building confidence and readiness to support teachers and learners in their own communities.

Content areas include how AI systems learn from data, how bias can emerge from limited datasets, and how machine learning models can be trained and tested on real-world problems. The program also addresses media literacy and AI-related career pathways.

Applications for the cohort close on January 30, 2026.
