Kahoot! appoints Jon Neale as Growth Director for UK and Ireland
Former Quizizz and Ed Before Tech executive joins Kahoot! to expand education and business partnerships across the region.
Kahoot! has appointed Jon Neale as Growth Director for the UK and Ireland. Neale took to social media to share the news, noting the move in a recent LinkedIn post.
He brings two decades of experience in education and a decade in EdTech, including senior roles at Quizizz, Ed Before Tech, and Brisk Teaching.
Kahoot! develops digital tools used in education and workplace training. Its platform allows users to create and take part in interactive quizzes and learning activities. The company’s products are used in schools, universities, and corporate settings in multiple countries.
Neale wrote that he is “thrilled to share that I’ve joined Kahoot! as Growth Director, UK & Ireland.” His post emphasized plans to build partnerships across both education and corporate sectors while connecting with the existing Kahoot! community of educators and organizations.
He added that Kahoot!’s mission “to make learning engaging, inclusive, and fun—couldn’t feel closer to home.”
Before joining Kahoot!, Neale served as Head of Growth for the UK and Ireland at Quizizz, leading regional strategy and community engagement. His prior work includes consultancy roles focused on go-to-market strategy and partnerships, alongside founding Ed Before Tech, where he advised schools, ministries, and technology companies on adoption and policy alignment.
Kahoot!’s expansion in the UK and Ireland reflects continued investment by global EdTech companies in regional leadership to support post-pandemic learning models and hybrid engagement tools. With Kahoot! already present in schools and enterprises, the move signals intent to strengthen local partnerships and business growth across both segments.
From a market perspective, Kahoot!’s decision to recruit a UK-based growth director may also point to renewed competition among learning platforms vying for institutional contracts, particularly as schools and colleges re-evaluate long-term digital strategies.
Jon Neale wrote: “I’m excited to lead purposeful impact across both education and business, building partnerships and connecting with the amazing community of educators, organisations, and the brilliant team who make learning awesome every day.”
