Inspired eLearning launches new simulations lab to provide employees with hands-on cybersecurity training

Inspired eLearning, a cybersecurity specialist, has launched a new simulations lab, offering hands-on experience in identifying and reacting to cyberthreats.

The simulations lab allows learners to respond to the most common email phishing, vishing, and SMSishing attacks, as attackers frequently using sophisticated social engineering attacks to bypass technical defenses.

The lab allows a workforce to act as a crucial line of defense, which could act as the difference between close call and a costly data breach for a company.

Using gamified elements and continuous interactions, the lab aims to create a smarter workforce that is engaged and motivated to improve. Situations are connected to real-life scams, with purpose-built, research-driven content.

"Technical defenses are essential, but the human element remains the most targeted and critical layer of security," explains John Trest, Chief Learning Officer and Strategic Product Manager, at Inspired eLearning.

"With the Simulations Lab, we are giving organizations the tools to turn that potential vulnerability into a powerful strength. We are empowering employees to become the most effective protectors of their organization's intellectual property, customer data, and sensitive health records."
