DigitalChalk launches updates to Chalkboard product that offers interactive video learning experiences
DigitalChalk, a provider of cloud-based learning management systems (LMS), has upgraded its Chalkboard product to offer new video and audio tools, allowing users to create interactive, professional video training.
The new look Chalkboard allows course authors to create professional training content without leaving the platform.
It promises offers modernized video and audio support, with the ability to upload large files faster and stream them more reliably. Course creators also use a new audio element designed for podcast-style narration.
The new Chalkboard also allows learners to choose how they view content, with the option to resize, switch positions or expand into full-browser mode.
Using AI, it can also automatically detect audio and generate captions in seconds without the need for a third-party tool. Course developers can easily add chapters and include visually enhanced checkpoints to keep learners engaged.
Course developers can also build their slides directly in DigitalChalk with more than 1,900 fonts and embedded royalty-free images. New intuitive editing tools allow for content to be reorders and slides automatically filled, saving hours of course production time.
