Sapio and Wifi Wars collaborate on Wifi Wars: Education Edition, an interactive AI literacy session for schools

Education technology provider Sapio has collaborated with live comedy game show Wifi Wars on a new interactive lesson on online safety for schools.

Wifi Wars: Education Edition offers insights into online behaviour, AI and digital life in an interactive game show format.

Audience members are able to join in using their own smartphone or tablets to compete in games, quizzes and challenges. Working with Sapio’s Founder Laura Knight, the new show has been specially adapted for schools to explore digital wellbeing, online safety and AI literacy.

The session asks students to consider manipulation, consent, and digital culture while learning together in a live show format.

Hosted by comedian Steve McNeil and supported by technologist Rob Sedgebeer, the sessions are now available for bookings in the next school term.

Optional CPD sessions are also available for staff and parents to expand learning across the school community.

Writing on LinkedIn, Knight says: “I’m delighted to announce WiFi Wars: Education Edition a brand new collaboration between Sapio and the award-winning WiFi Wars team. This isn’t just another online safety assembly. It’s a full-scale interactive experience where every student joins in live on their own device, laughing, competing, collaborating, and thinking hard about the digital worlds they navigate every day.”

Sapio specializes in digital transformation, AI adoption and innovation in schools, multi-academy trusts and edtech companies. Wifi Wars is a live comedy game show that asks audiences members to join in using their own devices.
