Renaissance, a preK-12 software provider, has announced plans to launch Renaissance Intelligence, an AI-powered assessment, instruction, and practice platform.

Launching in summer 2026, the tool will provide insights into student performance in real time and offer immediate guidance for educators.

Todd Brekhus, Chief Product Officer at Renaissance Learning, shared the news on LinkedIn, calling the tool “the most significant release” for the company. He added that Renaissance Intelligence was “built upon 40 years of innovating for educators”.

Jonathon Pounds, Senior Vice President of Sales at Renaissance added: “This is the moment that we have been working towards to achieve our mission and enable every student to be seen, coming this summer we take Renaissance to the Next level with Renaissance Intelligence!”

The tool offers AI-powered recommendations and adaptive pathways tailored to each individual student. It also provides teachers with generative AI tools to help plan lessons, create content and access guidance, matching lessons and activities to the school district’s curriculum.

Renaissance Intelligence also offers expanded capacity for student tutoring, interactive content and real-time feedback.

Last year, Renaissance Learning launched a new Core Publisher Experience offering personalized, data driven instruction for students. The tool translates assessment data into clear instructional next steps, allowing teachers to maximize their instructional time.
