Melospeech names K. Bavaro as its new Deputy CEO as it eyes growth and expansion

Early education and healthcare company Melospeech has named K. Bavaro as its new Deputy CEO. She joins the team under the leadership of current CEO and Founder Dr Givona Sandiford.

The appointment is part of a long-term plan to ensure Melospeech is positioned for scaling and growth. Bavaro has been working with Dr Sandiford for more than a year before moving into the new role.

“As a speech-language pathologist and former Clinical Director, I’ve had the privilege of leading multidisciplinary teams of therapists and helping grow small practices into thriving, mission-driven organizations,” says Bavaro.

“I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when we meet families where they are—both emotionally and culturally. What makes Melospeech so unique is our commitment to using technology and innovation that’s truly built for our field in order to deliver better, faster care to communities that need it most. Our field is ready for this kind of growth, and I’m thrilled to help lead that transformation.”

Dr Sandiford adds: “Melospeech has always been about changing the world one little one at a time. By expanding our leadership team, we are ensuring that our growth is intentional, sustainable, and rooted in innovation.”
