Los Angeles Pacific University launches centralized digital campus with Pathify to streamline remote student experience
Los Angeles Pacific University becomes Pathify’s first fully online partner with the rollout of myLAPU for remote learners.
Los Angeles Pacific University (LAPU), a fully online Christian university, has launched a new centralized digital platform designed to streamline the student experience across its remote campus. The system, branded as myLAPU, is powered by Pathify and brings together services, communication tools, and learning resources into a single interface.
LAPU becomes the first fully online institution to implement Pathify’s engagement platform, marking a shift in how digital-first universities structure and deliver core services to students. The portal integrates key systems including Jenzabar One, D2L, and Moodle, replacing the university’s former fragmented portal and mobile app setup.
“At LAPU, our entire institution operates online, so our digital platform needs to function like a true campus,” says Daniel Terrones, director of information technology at LAPU. “Pathify enables us to provide a student experience that feels as seamless and intuitive as the everyday apps our students already use. Its clean design, minimal administrative overhead and ability to unify multiple systems into one modern interface made it the clear choice.”
Online experience drives student engagement and support
The new platform is built to function as the primary interface for students navigating academic tasks, accessing support, and staying connected. By centralizing tools and information, LAPU aims to reduce friction and improve engagement across its remote learning environment.
The system rollout is part of a broader effort to strengthen digital infrastructure in higher education as more institutions shift toward hybrid and fully online delivery models.
Pathify expands presence with fully remote partner
Pathify, a Denver-based company that builds digital engagement hubs for colleges and universities, supports integration across the student lifecycle—from admissions through to alumni engagement. The partnership with LAPU reflects an expansion of Pathify’s footprint into institutions without physical campuses.
“As institutions rethink how to deliver meaningful, effective student support in hybrid and fully online environments, centralizing the digital experience isn’t just a convenience — it’s a necessity,” says Chase Williams, CEO and co-founder of Pathify. “We are proud to support LAPU as they strengthen their student-centered digital campus, and we are thrilled to welcome our first fully online university partner.”
