Kahoot! shifts gears with Tour de France partnership to launch interactive learning content

The global learning platform will deliver race-themed digital activities as the Official Digital Interactive Learning Platform of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

Kahoot! has signed a multi-year agreement with Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) to become the Official Digital Interactive Learning Platform of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The partnership will see Kahoot! roll out cycling-themed quizzes and interactive content during the 2025 races, aimed at students, teachers, families, and fans.

Headquartered in Oslo, Kahoot! develops digital tools that allow users to create and participate in real-time quizzes and challenges. The company says the new partnership will enable learning about the history and culture of the Tour through short-form, accessible formats. Live Kahoot! sessions will also be hosted at official Tour fan zones during the race period.

“We are thrilled to partner with the men’s and women’s Tour de France. By combining the global excitement of these races with Kahoot!’s engaging learning platform, we aim to inspire curiosity, celebrate knowledge, and connect people of all ages through playful learning—whether in the classroom, at home, among colleagues, or on the road,” says Eilert Hanoa, CEO at Kahoot!.

Platform to feature race content and live trivia at fan parks

As part of the rollout, Kahoot! users will gain access to curated content related to the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The interactive experiences are designed to be used in educational and social settings, with questions spanning race history, geography, and rider trivia.

“This partnership with Kahoot! perfectly reflects our commitment to bringing the Tour de France to life across all platforms and in all its forms, especially by combining sporting passion with playful activities,” says Julien Goupil, Media and Partnerships Director at A.S.O. “Through this collaboration, we’re offering fans, both young and old, a new, interactive and entertaining way to discover and immerse themselves in the magic of the Tour, whether at school, with friends, or with family.”

Content goes live alongside race stages

The 2025 Tour de France begins on July 5 in Lille and ends on July 27 in Paris. The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift follows from July 26 to August 3, covering nine stages from Vannes to Châtel. Kahoot! content is expected to launch in parallel, offering remote engagement for those watching from home or using the platform in classrooms.

Whether in the classroom or fan zone, Kahoot! is betting that a bit of Tour-themed trivia will keep participants pedaling through the summer learning slump.
