Adjunctions and OneHE link micro-credentials to adjunct hiring and professional development

Integration brings OneHE’s microlearning library into the Adjunctions platform so non-tenured faculty can upskill and connect with teaching opportunities.

Adjunctions, a platform that connects colleges and universities with adjunct and non-tenured faculty, has announced a collaboration with OneHE, a global professional learning community for higher education. OneHE’s short courses and micro-credentials appear inside Adjunctions alongside its smart matching for teaching opportunities, positioning professional development next to hiring workflows.

Adjunctions says instructors can access OneHE microlearning, pursue micro-credentials, and connect with peers without leaving the hiring platform. For institutions, the companies position tighter links between recruitment, development, and retention, with the goal of supporting student satisfaction and persistence. Course counts, credential frameworks, pricing, and recognition policies are not detailed in the announcement.

The collaboration is framed against a workforce in which adjuncts represent more than half of higher-ed teaching, often with uneven access to training and support.

Ian Doyle, Founder of Adjunctions, comments, “This isn’t just about filling courses—it’s about creating a community that strengthens adjuncts and higher education as a whole.”

Doyle adds, “Adjunctions is the hub. Our collaboration with OneHE brings powerful tools into that community, helping adjuncts grow their skills, build careers, and improve outcomes for students.”
