ReadWorks and ClassLink team up to increase access to free evidence-based reading resources

ReadWorks, a non-profit focused on advancing reading comprehension, has partnered with ClassLink, a global provider of analytics products for educators, have announced a new partnership.

The new deal will support millions of students and more than 50,000 educators in underserved communities by combining ReadWork’s proven teaching methods and ClassLink’s analytics and identify management platform.

Starting in the new school year, school administrators can add ReadWorks’ free reading resources to their ClassLink LaunchPad. This will provide access to thousands of engaging texts, activities, and tools that will increase background knowledge, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.

"At ReadWorks, our mission is to support teaching and learning that builds the knowledge and vocabulary essential for students' reading comprehension, with a deep commitment to under-resourced communities,” explains Terry Bowman, Executive Director at ReadWorks.

“By partnering with ClassLink and leveraging their single sign-on capabilities, we're making it even easier for educators to access our free, high-quality materials through a platform they already use every day. This streamlined access means teachers can spend less time on logins and more time engaging students with the instruction that makes a lasting impact."

The news follows shortly after ClassLink announced the launch of AppTrack, a new system for tracking and approving edtech requests.  Education leaders can now use AppTrack to manage the approval process for new edtech, including security checks, interoperability, and instructional fit.
