Hexaware Technologies, an IT services provider, has partnered with training provider upGrad on Agentic AI Academy, aiming to prepare its workforce for the next stage of its development.

Co-designed with upGrad Enterprise, the training aligns with Hexaware’s workforce, customer, and business priorities. Hexaware plans to onboard a majority of its delivery and engineering teams into the academy in the next few months.

Agentic AI Academy builds on two years of investments in generative AI programs which has seen 95 percent of Hexaware’s employees complete training in GenAI fundamentals. In this new phase, employees will develop expertise in agentic AI.

"Agentic technologies are becoming fundamental to how enterprises operate," explains Vinod Chandran, Chief Operating Officer at Hexaware. "Agentic Academy ensures our people are equipped not only to use these systems but to lead engagements built around them."

"We're moving from automation to intelligent orchestration, where agents collaborate, decide, and deliver outcomes,” adds Satyajith Mundakkal, Chief Technology Officer at Hexaware.

“This shift is redefining roles and creating demand for Agentic expertise. Our goal is to equip talent to lead real-world Agentic assignments with confidence and capability.”

Hexaware says it has already seen tangible results from the training, with initial participants now working on agentic assignments and progressing onto additional learning tracks.
