ClassLink launches AppTrack, aiming to support education leaders tasked with evaluating edtech requests

ClassLink, an education and analytics provider, has announced the launch of AppTrack, a new system for tracking and approving edtech requests.

Education leaders can use AppTrack to manage the approval process for new edtech, including security checks, interoperability, and instructional fit.

"Leaders want to say yes to new ideas without inviting risk. AppTrack provides a clear and accountable path for every new app request. Reviews get completed. Good tools move forward. Risky ones don't,” explains Stanley Watts, Chief Technology Officer at ClassLink.

AppTrack provides a structured workflow for edtech evaluation, ensuring that each request follows the correct process. It also tracks cybersecurity and compliance reviews, ensuring safety ahead of any app being used by educators.

The app can also verify interoperability, ensuring that new edtech works seamlessly with the institution’s existing technology.  AppTrack also offers budget monitoring and the ability for all stakeholders to track the approval process from first submissions to final approvals.

ClassLink is offering education leaders a 30-minute on-demand webinar previewing AppTrack.

Alongside the launch of AppTrack, ClassLink also announced upgrades across its platform providing enhanced security, greater efficiency, and smarter management tools.
