ETIH Innovation Awards 2026: judges spotlight on Richard Govada Joshua

Technology leader joins judging panel with experience in AI, workforce development, and mentoring talent to build real-world skills across enterprise environments.

We’re pleased to welcome Richard Govada Joshua to the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 judging panel, bringing experience in artificial intelligence, workforce development, and digital transformation across enterprise and public sector environments.

As part of our ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 spotlight series, we’re continuing to announce the judges who will review entries across this year’s categories.

Each judge has been selected for practical experience, sector insight, and the ability to assess impact in real-world environments. Joshua joins Catherine Buckler, Neil Almond, Al Kingsley MBE, Tina Austin, Jack Dowling, and Scott Thompson on the panel, with more judges to be announced.

Judge profile

Richard Govada Joshua is a Project Manager at TEKsystems, where he leads initiatives focused on enterprise systems, operational frameworks, and technology implementation across complex environments.

A core part of his work centers on workforce development, supporting organizations to build the skills and capabilities needed to adopt new technologies, including AI, in structured and scalable ways. His experience spans public sector, healthcare, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT, with a focus on aligning technology adoption with workforce readiness.

With more than a decade of experience, Joshua has contributed to programs involving organizations such as Google and the United States Environmental Protection Agency, supporting the integration of emerging technologies within large-scale systems.

Alongside his delivery work, Joshua is actively involved in mentorship and skills development initiatives, working with professionals and early-career talent to support pathways into technology and project management. His work focuses on practical skill-building, helping individuals and organizations translate technical knowledge into real-world application.

He has also contributed to research in areas including cybersecurity, AI, and emerging technologies, with published work exploring how these systems can be implemented responsibly and effectively.

Joshua has served as a judge and reviewer for international innovation programs, assessing solutions based on technical feasibility, scalability, and measurable impact, with a particular focus on how technology supports workforce capability and long-term development.

His perspective brings a focus on skills, scalability, and execution, offering a practical lens for evaluating EdTech solutions designed to deliver measurable outcomes in both learning and workforce contexts.

Enter the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026

Entries for the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 are now open. Submissions are reviewed by an independent judging panel made up of educators, researchers, and sector experts.

The awards are open to EdTech companies, schools, colleges, universities, and organizations working across education and workforce development. Categories span artificial intelligence, digital learning platforms, student engagement, workforce skills, and education-industry collaboration.

The entry deadline is Friday, 27 March 2026. The shortlist will be announced on Monday, 13 April 2026, with winners revealed on Monday, 11 May 2026.
