name.com has integrated domain services into five AI and developer platforms

Domain platform name.com has added its domain services to five AI and developer platforms, allowing users to obtain and manage a custom web address within the same tools they use to build apps, websites and online stores.

The new API partnerships cover Lovable, Railway, Hercules, Sellfy and Anything.com. Each integration places domain registration inside an existing creation, deployment or store setup process, reducing the number of separate services required before a product can be published online.

Early figures supplied by name.com point to demand inside AI app-building tools. The company says Lovable users registered thousands of domains during the first week of its integration, although it has not provided a precise total or comparison period.

Lovable enables users to create apps and websites by communicating with AI. Sebastian Schaaf, Product at Lovable, says: “Giving these products a home needed to be effortless for our users, and we decided that name.com was the right partner to make this possible at our scale."

Domain management moves into building workflows

The five partnerships use the name.com API in different parts of the product development process.

Anything.com connects websites and mobile apps created through vibe coding to custom domains. Hercules also lets users build apps by chatting with AI before publishing them to a custom domain. According to name.com, Hercules completed its integration in three days.

Railway has opened a domain storefront and added registration and Domain Name System, or DNS, management to its deployment workflow. The companies finalized that integration within two weeks.

For creators using Sellfy, custom domain access is now incorporated into the process of setting up an online store.

Sammy Ahmed, Vice President and General Manager at name.com, positions domains as a persistent marker of identity as AI makes software creation more accessible.

“Domains remain the foundation of online identity and presence, signaling trust and credibility that AI cannot replicate,” Ahmed says. “These partnerships reflect growing demand for domain registration to happen directly within the tools people already use, and name.com is making that seamless.”

The five platforms join name.com’s existing integration portfolio, which includes Vercel, Replit, Netlify, Bolt and Beacons. Its API is built using OpenAPI specifications, while its recently introduced name.dev developer hub provides integration guides, partner case studies and product information.
