Classful launches on-demand education platform Teach on Classful, giving teachers a new source of revenue

Classful, a digital marketplace for educators, has launched Teach on Classful, a platform allowing educators to create and sell on-demand courses.

Classful says the launch will give educators a chance to earn additional income, with unlimited video hosting and a flat commission rate of 20 percent. The system does not require educators to have any external plugins or equipment.

Teach on Classful will also offer analytics, messaging and course-management tools for educators. Flexible pricing will allow educators to set their own rates, although it says most should be listed between $10 and $30.

Early adopters are invited to join the platform starting in August, with early participants offered priority placing in the public catalogue.

Classful says the global e-learning market is expected to be worth more than $400 billion by 2026 and claims self-paced formats account for around 77 percent of demand.

"Teachers already rely on Classful for fundraising and digital resources," says Connor Clem, spokesperson for Classful. "Expanding that trust to self-paced video courses was the logical next step. With one dashboard, educators can now raise funds, sell resources, and earn recurring course revenue-all in one place."
