British Esports launches bespoke esports support service at Bett 2026

British Esports, the national body for esports in the UK, has announced the launch of a new support service. Launched at Bett UK 2026 in London this week, the new service aims to support organizations looking to start, scale or strengthen their esports offering.

The new service is aimed at schools, colleges and universities, local authorities, and national federations, as well as charities, brands, and venues.

It will focus key areas including esports facility development, funding advice, training and certification, policy development, business advice, and esports strategy development.

“This new service is about helping organisations make sense of esports and see the real value it can offer. Whether you’re a principal, curriculum leader, IT director, teacher, parent or any other organisation or individual looking to tap into the benefits and power of esports, we want to help,” comments Kalam Neale, Head of Education at British Esports.

“If you want to open an esports facility, access funding, curriculum support, staff training or develop your strategy, our aim is to provide the right solutions that suit your bespoke needs. If you’re exploring how esports could fit into your plans, please reach out - we look forward to speaking with you.”

The launch coincides with British Esports’ dedicated Esports in Education Summit at Bett UK, which offers educators a chance to network and learn more about how esports can support student engagement and develop STEM pathways.

British Esports says it is also currently developing a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) offer aimed at senior leaders, teachers, service departments and enrichment teams.

The news follows shortly after British Esports secured government funding to launch a pilot esports education program with the English Football League, targeting young people in disadvantaged communities. The initiative, approved under a national digital inclusion fund, signals growing interest from policymakers in esports as a structured pathway for digital skills, safeguarding, and youth engagement.
