Anthropic seeks curriculum lead for Claude apps as company expands AI education work
A LinkedIn post from Zoe Ludwig highlights a new role to design non-technical AI learning pathways and scale Anthropic’s AI Fluency initiatives.
Anthropic, the company behind the Claude family of AI systems, has advertised a new role focused on building AI curricula for education and professional audiences.
The announcement was shared in a LinkedIn post by Zoe Ludwig, who leads Anthropic’s Claude apps education and previously founded the customer education team at Notion.
Building AI fluency programs
The role of Claude Apps Curriculum Lead will be responsible for developing non-technical AI courses, creating structured pathways from introductory to advanced levels, and partnering with educational institutions to scale Anthropic’s AI Fluency programs.
Ludwig writes: “I’m hiring — and I just know this is somebody's dream role! If you're passionate about shaping how AI lands in our communities, and experienced building education content for millions, I want to meet you!”
According to the job description, responsibilities include owning the curriculum development lifecycle, designing multi-format learning experiences, and working with universities, subject experts, and industry partners. The position is offered in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle, with an expected salary range of $160,000 to $255,000.
Anthropic’s wider push into AI education
The hiring move comes as Anthropic steps up its focus on AI in education. The company recently launched new AI courses and formed a higher education advisory board chaired by former Yale President Rick Levin, with members from Stanford, Rice, Michigan, and other institutions. That board is advising on the ethical use of AI in teaching, research, and student success.
For this new role, candidates are expected to have experience in curriculum design and instructional theory, with an emphasis on adult learning. The description also highlights the importance of building strategic academic partnerships and designing assessment frameworks to measure learning outcomes.
Applications are open, with Anthropic noting it expects high interest. Ludwig advises candidates to apply directly rather than message her individually. She concludes: “You'll own the complete curriculum lifecycle for non-technical AI courses, build learning pathways from basic to advanced, and partner with highly-respected institutions to scale AI Fluency.”
