Stanza Education Corporation, a nonprofit provider of online and in-person microschools for grades 6–12, has appointed two new heads of school at institutions within its network.

Cory Plough has been named Head of School at Holston Academy, Stanza’s online private school for students in grades 6–12. Plough has over 20 years of experience in online education and administration.

“I’m honored to lead Holston Academy into its next chapter,” says Plough. “This is a community that believes in the potential of every student, and I’m excited to help further that mission through technology, flexibility, and meaningful connections.”

Lori Kubach will lead the Palm Beach International Academy (PBIA) campus in Boca Raton as Head of School. She brings experience in mentorship, one-on-one instruction, and academic program development.

“At PBIA, learning is a deeply personal experience, and that’s what drew me here,” says Kubach. “I’m thrilled to lead a community where education is built around the individual student, fostering not just academic growth, but confidence, curiosity, and character.”

Focus on personalized learning models
Stanza says both appointments align with its model of student-centered education. The organization supports both brick-and-mortar and online learning communities and provides customized instruction and curriculum support to its partner schools.

Megan O’Reilly Palevich, Executive Director at Stanza Education Corporation, comments, “Cory and Lori are both dynamic, forward-thinking leaders who understand what it means to center education around each student. Their vision and compassion reflect the values we champion at Stanza, and I’m confident they will lead Holston and PBIA into a future of meaningful, student-driven learning.”
