NVIDIA partners with QA on AI apprenticeships following pledge to train 100,000 UK developers by 2030
Earlier this year, NVIDIA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Government, supporting its plans to upskill the UK workforce and create a talent pipeline extending across all stages of education.
As a member of NVIDIA’s partner network, QA is providing AI training through the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute as well as through its own courses, aiming to create talent equipped in AI skills.
“This is a significant moment for QA and for the UK’s digital future,” comments Jo Bishenden, Chief Learning Officer at QA. “We’re excited to work with NVIDIA through their DLI programme to bring world-class AI training to learners, developers, and organisations across the country—to enable the AI Opportunities Action Plan and make our national ambitions a reality.”
The news was revealed shortly after QA shared that it had integrated Microsoft Copilot AI learning into all of its apprenticeship programmes.
All apprentices will be given access to tailored Copilot training including digital learning, live webinars, and hands-on experiences. The move is said to support the UK Government’s AI Skills Action Plan, which aims to transform the nation’s economy and public services while establishing the country as a global leader in AI innovation.
“We’re proud to embed Microsoft Copilot learning across all programmes,” says Jo Bishenden, Chief Learning Officer at QA. “This is about more than just tech skills - it’s about empowering every learner to thrive in an AI-enabled workplace and helping UK businesses stay ahead of the curve so that we can lead the world in AI.”
