AI-powered automation company ABBYY has shared than more than 18,00 students have completed courses at its virtual training platform ABBYY University.

ABBYY University offers 36 free courses on the organisation’s Document AI and Process AI solutions. It has reported a 20 percent increase in the number of graduates in the past year, driven by its intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions.

In 2024, ABBYY says students from 119 different countries undertook courses and certification on its learning platform, with most students hailing from the US, India, Australia, the UK and France.

Ulf Persson, Chief Executive at ABBYY, comments: “We’re thrilled to see ABBYY University’s hands-on training program equip technical professionals with the skills they need to successfully deploy and maximize ABBYY within their business-critical processes. The impressive number of completed courses and certifications is a true testament to our team's dedication to delivering engaging, diverse, and high-quality learning experiences.”

Bobby Lamaute, an ABBYY University graduate and Senior Application Developer at Aflac, adds: “One of the aspects I appreciated most was the hands-on approach of the training, as being able to apply the concepts in a practical setting helped reinforce my understanding and see where I can apply them to real world cases for my company.

“I’ve not only deepened my technical knowledge but also improved my ability to engage effectively with stakeholders. It’s made me feel more credible and capable when discussing technical aspects of projects, which is already making a positive impact on my professional relationships."
