Kapur-Parada Center of AI opens in Arizona, aiming to close the learning gap and allow teachers and families to experiment with AI
The Kapur-Parada Center of AI has opened in Arizona, aiming to bring cutting-edge AI tools to rural communities. Teachers and families will encouraged to use the space to learn and experiment with AI.

The center was supported by a donation from Rajeev Kapur, author of AI Made Simple. The donation included four Dell desktop computers preloaded with AI resources, printers, training, and professional support.
"This center represents the future of education," explains Kapur. "AI has the power to break down barriers that have held rural communities back for too long. By opening access to these tools in Nogales, we're creating a place where innovation and opportunity can thrive."
"The Kapur-Parada Center of AI has brought excitement to our educational communities," adds Maya Donnelly, Superintendent at Santa Cruz County. "The idea of enhancing educators' work with accurate and time-saving technology is intriguing. Santa Cruz County is grateful for the partnership with Mr. Kapur, and we look forward to growing this opportunity."
Teachers will be given full access to the lab, allowing them to experiment and bring innovative AI strategies into the classroom. The center will also run training workshops tailored by grade level to support educators.
