Hoopla Digital expands offering with ten new children’s BingePasses added to all-in-one digital media app for public libraries

Hoopla Digital, an all-in-one digital media app for public libraries, has added ten new BingePasses focused on children’s content.

The new content includes two series developed in collaboration with HarperCollins Publishers and eight with Lerner Publishing Group, including learning-focused content such as Social Studies for Kids and Science Squad.

The new passes include characters such as The Berenstein Bears and Fiona the Hippo, offering families a bundle of child-friendly eBooks from iconic children’s brands and STEM-focused collections.

This expands on Hoopla’s existing 25 BingePass offerings for children that include videos, games, audiobooks, and other content.

“We’re thrilled to bring popular children’s content to kids and their families through the BingePass experience,” comments Brad Rose, Vice President of Content Strategy at Hoopla.

“Our goal is to make it simple and cost-effective for parents to stream trusted, high-quality entertainment and educational content for their kids using just their library card — and provide a variety of options to choose from.”

Participating libraries will now receive immediate access to the new BingePasses through Hoopla with no additional cost or subscription, alongside 60 other offerings.

“BingePass is all about removing barriers and helping patrons discover and enjoy great content more easily,” adds Jeff Jankowski, Founder of Hoopla Digital. “Libraries have always been centers of learning, and BingePass continues that mission by providing instant access to stories that inspire, educate and entertain. I’m especially excited about these newest BingePasses, as they further underscore our commitment to improving children’s literacy.”
