Mark Leiter, Vice Chairman, Honor Education
Honor Education, a teaching and learning platform, has announced that Mark Leiter will join the company as its new Vice Chairman.
Reporting to CEO Joel Podolny, Leiter will join Honor’s executive leadership team, providing oversight for corporate strategy, development, marketing, and communications.
Leiter will also be tasked with creating new professional services to help corporate clients build the skills and capabilities they need to succeed.
“People are now changing careers, companies, and roles at an accelerated pace—while huge advancements in artificial intelligence capabilities are rapidly expanding the jobs and tasks software can perform,“ Leiter comments.
He previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Neilson and Chief Digital Strategy Officer and Global Leader at Boeing. Leiter also held practice leadership roles at McKinsey and Co and Capgemini, after beginning his career at Bain & Company.
“Equipping leadership teams to upskill and reskill their people to thrive in this dynamic environment is one of the most urgent strategic challenges I’ve encountered in my career. I was drawn to Honor due to a shared commitment to prepare corporations for the future of work in ways that benefit businesses, workers, and society.”
“A visionary strategist, Mark has a proven record of uncovering bold new opportunities to elevate performance at enterprises of every size and across multiple industries,” adds Podolny. “His dedication to his craft as a strategist – coupled with his enduring passion for developing top talent by blending innovative educational programs, coaching, and frontline experiences – makes him a uniquely valuable addition to our company.”
Earlier this year, Honor Education announced it has raised $38 million in Series A funding to expand its AI capabilities, enhance personalization and grow its operations and customer success teams to support growing demand.
