Google for Education hiring program managers to support higher education training
Anthony Hernandez has taken to social media to share that Google for Education’s Global Impact team is recruiting for roles in program and content management across higher education communities.

Anthony Hernandez, Strategic Partnerships Manager for EdTech at Google, said in a LinkedIn post that Google for Education is hiring for two positions focused on higher education training and faculty communities.
Google for Education develops programs and tools including Gemini, Google Workspace for Education, and Chromebooks, and says its Global Impact team has supported more than 140 million students, educators, and administrators worldwide.
The Global Impact team is recruiting a Program Manager, Higher Education Faculty Communities, and a Content Program Manager, Higher Education Training. Locations listed include Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Boulder, Addison, Mountain View, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, London, and Google’s Playa Vista campus.
The Program Manager role centers on building communities of practice for higher education teaching staff, with an emphasis on exploring Google AI tools. The Content Program Manager role will focus on developing training resources for faculty, staff, and students, with responsibilities covering research, instructional design, and evaluation of training delivery. Both positions require experience in higher education and program or content management, with qualifications highlighting AI and digital pedagogy.
Hernandez described the team as “instrumental to professional development of educators and administrators.” He added, “They bring in expertise across educational pedagogy, community building, and program management.”
