Code Ninjas launches new AI and Robotics Academies and Drone Club preparing children for tomorrow’s challenges

Code Ninjas, a provider of coding education for children, has launched two new academies: the AI Academy and the Robotics Academy. It has also announced a new Drone Club.

The new programs are targeted at children aged between five and 14, hoping to ensure children are prepared for the future.

Using Code Ninjas’ new LearnDash platform, the courses offer flexible, self-paced learning with weekly hour-long sessions.

The courses are designed to encourage creative thinking with real-world tools and the freedom to find their own solutions to problems.

“We know kids learn best when they’re free to experiment and make ideas their own,” explains Ed Kim, Vice President of Education at Code Ninjas. “With our new Academies, Ninjas aren’t just learning how technology works – they’re discovering how to use it creatively, solve real problems and build things they never thought possible.”

The AI Academy explores how generative AI can be used to create art, music and stories. Children will learn how to use AI to code and debug their own games and projects.

The Robotics Academy will give children a chance to design, build and test a robot using Lego, Spike and Vex Go kits.

Code Ninjas’ Drone Club will teach children the basics of drone flight and take on aerial challenges aiming to boost their problem-solving skills.

“Today’s kids are tomorrow’s innovators – and we want to give them every opportunity to explore the technology shaping their world,” adds Kim. “The Academies and Drone Club take our mission to the next level, helping Ninjas discover new passions and gain skills that will inspire them long after they leave our Dojos.”
