Bromcom and Cygnet IT Services open second Centre of Excellence for school MIS support

Bromcom Computers and Cygnet IT Services have launched a second UK Centre of Excellence to provide schools and trusts with expanded support for management information systems (MIS).

Bromcom, a UK-based provider of AI-driven MIS and finance systems for schools, local authorities, and multi-academy trusts, has announced the opening of a new Centre of Excellence in partnership with Cygnet IT Services.

The initiative builds on their first collaboration and is designed to strengthen MIS support through shared expertise.

The Centre of Excellence offers schools access to dedicated teams familiar with their operational needs, accredited Bromcom specialists for technical support, and consultancy tailored to development goals.

Mandie Kirk, Programme Lead at Bromcom, says: “It’s a pleasure to be working alongside Cygnet. Their strong expertise in education, paired with our forward-thinking technology, creates a partnership that delivers exceptional support for schools.”

Ali Guryel, Managing Director of Bromcom, adds: “The Centre of Excellence programme is all about raising the bar for what schools can expect from their MIS partner. With our CoE programme, we’re building a new standard of support, smarter, faster, and more in tune with the real-world challenges schools face.”

Cygnet IT Services, which operates as a community interest company, has provided independent education IT support for a decade, working with local authorities, schools, and multi-academy trusts.

Sarah Iuliano, MIS Services Director at Cygnet IT Services, comments: “Cygnet is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Centre of Excellence by Bromcom. We are very grateful for this recognition from Bromcom, it serves as a testament to our shared commitment to excellence in supporting and helping schools.

“The MIS team here at Cygnet are proud of the close relationship we have built with all our schools, offering tailored support for their Bromcom MIS. For 10 years, we have operated as an independent organization, working with LAs, schools, and academy trusts. We always strive to maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent levels of service. We take pride in the hands-on support and personal touch we offer to every customer, ensuring they can get the most out of their MIS. Whether it’s through our helpdesk service, training, or consultancy, our friendly and knowledgeable team is always at the end of the phone to provide support.”
