Avantis Education launches Eduverse CTE for career and technical education

VR

Avantis Education, which creates virtual and augmented reality for use in education, has launched Eduverse CTE, an immersive training experience for “workplace-ready skills”.

Eduverse CTE focuses on career-readiness, vocational pathways, and career exploration.

“Eduverse CTE is our most ambitious immersive learning launch yet, designed to give students authentic workplace practice while giving teachers the confidence to deliver it easily in the classroom,” explains Gillian Rhodes, Chief Marketing Officer at Avantis Education.

“By combining immersive career simulations with classroom management tools, we are giving teachers the power to inspire students with future-ready skills, while providing learners with the competence and clarity to succeed as tomorrow’s workforce. It’s more than just technology – it’s a complete career training experience.”

Avantis says demand for vocational education has never been greater and claims learners using virtual reality are four times more focused and twice as confident when applying their knowledge than those using traditional techniques.

Eduverse CTE’s training offers immersive modules that help students develop soft skills as well as technical abilities. It provides scenario-based learning to build confidence and gives students a chance to explore careers in high-demand industries.

Avantis partnered with VirtualSpeech to bring AI-powered soft skills training to ClassVR.

“There are so many synergies between our companies – not least our shared focus on creating immersive experiences that have a positive and tangible impact in the real world,” adds Sophie Thompson, CEO at VirtualSpeech.

“VirtualSpeech has been widely adopted globally by professionals striving to improve their communication skills,  and now, through this partnership, we can bring the benefits of virtual role play and feedback to help more students become career-ready in a safe and supportive way.”

Three-year subscriptions to the Eduverse CTE are included with all Xcelerate purchases.
