Australia’s Charles Darwin University opens first ‘hyper-flexible’ masters course in the UK
Charles Darwin University, Australia, has announced it is launching its “hyper-flexible” higher education model in the UK this year.
Students will be able to start the masters-level courses at any time and study online at their own pace, working around work, family, and other commitments.
The university will open a London study centre in 2026 where it will host intensive masterclasses, opportunities to learn from global experts, and create a collaborative learning experience.
With course prices starting at £12,000, the university says it can provide affordable post-graduate study for busy professionals.
“For more than 30 years, Charles Darwin University has been at the forefront of delivering high-quality education to some of the most remote and diverse communities in Australia,” says Professor Scott Bowman, Vice-Chancellor of Charles Darwin University.
“That experience has shaped our reputation as a leader in flexible, innovative learning models that empower students to succeed wherever they are. Bringing that expertise to the UK is a natural next step, and it means working professionals can finally study on their own terms with flexibility, choice, and without compromise.
“Many in the UK dream of experiencing Australia, and we’re offering a bridge, proudly becoming the first Australian university to establish a campus here. We are a university built on educational excellence, bringing the spirit of Australia into our teaching and offering a fresh approach to learning, including short-term opportunities for UK-based students to study in Australia and blend travel with learning.”
Courses available include a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Cyber Security (MCS), which both aim to meet the needs of the business and technology sectors.
