USC EdTech Accelerator's application portal opens for its next cohort

USC’s Rossier School has started accepting applications for the eighth cohort of its EdTech Accelerator Program and will be open until 30 September 2025.

The Edtech Accelerator is a virtual program that aims to support the growth of edtech startups by providing operational and technical assistance, business strategy, product roadmap development/refinement and access to educators, investors and foundations.

Entrepreneurs enrolled in the program also benefit from interactions with members of USC faculty and the University’s network of industry contacts.

“It’s an exciting time to be developing an edtech solution given the rapid advances in technologies and the changing landscape of education,” comments Mark DeGennaro, Managing Director of USC’s Edtech Accelerator Program. “We are excited to work with the next cohort of founders as they build impactful solutions.”

The USC EdTech Accelerator is a fully virtual program that does not charge for tuition or ask for equity in the participating companies, making it more accessible for entrepreneurs.

“We are excited to support the work of the USC EdTech Accelerator at Rossier” adds USC Rossier Dean Pedro Noguera. “There is a real need to ensure that learning technologies are efficacious and unbiased, and that they improve learning outcomes and access for all learners.”
