Speechify expands campus reach with University of Arizona and Stanford partnerships

Speechify has taken to LinkedIn to confirm new multi-year agreements with two major U.S. universities, giving more than 70,000 students and staff access to its premium Voice AI tools.

Speechify, a company that provides AI-powered reading, voice typing, summarization, and audio-based study tools, took to LinkedIn to announce new campus-wide partnerships with the University of Arizona and Stanford University.

The company develops text-to-speech and Voice AI products used by more than 50 million people across mobile, desktop, and web platforms.

The posts confirm that the University of Arizona has signed a multi-year site-wide license that gives more than forty thousand undergraduates access to Speechify Premium through their institutional email accounts.

Arizona deal focuses on student access

In its update, Speechify wrote that “40,000+ undergrads can now use our all-in-one Voice AI Assistant” to support reading, writing, and study tasks across web, desktop, and mobile. The company stated that students are able to read text aloud, voice type across platforms such as Google Docs and Gmail, generate AI podcasts, summarize readings, and create quizzes from assignments.

Speechify added: “We’re grateful to see such a large university with this kind of AI-focused leadership embrace tools like Speechify on their campus.”

Stanford partnership confirmed in second post

A second post outlined that Stanford University has also adopted Speechify Premium for all undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff. The company wrote that “ALL of Stanford University’s 30,000+ undergrads, graduate students, faculty, and staff members now have access.”

The announcement positions the agreement as a campus-wide integration of Speechify’s Voice Assistant, including features for reading text aloud, editing writing, summarizing materials, and generating personalized audio content.

Speechify wrote: “Grateful to Stanford for partnering with us to bring Speechify site-wide to anyone with a @stanford.edu email address.”
