School of Esports appoints Stuart Kosters as Education Development Partner in the UK

Announced in a LinkedIn post, the appointment will strengthen esports curriculum design and industry partnerships.

The UK-based School of Esports announced on LinkedIn that Stuart Kosters has joined the organization as Education Development Partner.

The role will focus on curriculum design, building new partnerships, and supporting the delivery of esports education to learners aged 11 to 17.

Commenting on the appointment, Kosters says, “I am incredibly excited to join School of Esports and contribute to such a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Esports offers immense opportunities for skill development, career pathways, and personal growth. I look forward to working with the team to empower the next generation of esports professionals and enthusiasts.”

School of Esports and its education model

The School of Esports delivers a STEM-led program for learners aged 11 to 17. The course focuses on practical skills such as teamwork, communication, numeracy, literacy, and problem-solving, linking gaming to transferable skills relevant across education and future careers.

Students can develop employability and leadership skills through esports while gaining an understanding of the range of careers in the industry. The organization is accredited as a Trail Blazing Centre with the Leadership Skills Foundation in partnership with the British Esports Federation, offering Level 1 and Level 2 Esports Leadership qualifications.

The appointment comes as UK esports continues to expand its educational and professional pathways. Earlier this month, ETIH reported on the British Esports Federation securing multi-million-pound funding to build a national Gaming and Esports Arena in Sunderland, which will host live competitions, training, and education programs.

In a separate LinkedIn post, Kosters said he is “truly proud to be part of” the organization and looks forward to supporting ongoing projects and building on the work already in place.
