RM extends digital assessment deal with South Australia’s SACE Board through 2032
The expanded agreement will add more secondary subjects to RM’s on-screen assessment platform over the next eight years.

EdTech provider RM plc has extended its partnership with the South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE), committing to deliver digital assessments across secondary subjects through 2032. The renewal builds on a working relationship that began in 2018, when RM first supported SACE’s move from paper-based to on-screen examination formats.
RM provides digital learning and assessment services globally, working with governments, exam awarding bodies, and educational institutions. Its technology supports the full lifecycle of assessment, including digital test creation, secure delivery, marking, and analysis.
The contract extension will see additional subjects added to the existing digital assessment framework, including mathematics, science, geography, and music. RM’s Global Accreditation Platform will continue to be used as the delivery infrastructure.
On-screen testing expanded since 2018
SACE and RM currently deliver digital exams in 15 subjects, including biology, psychology, legal studies, geography, and English literary studies. The original collaboration was intended to support a digital-first strategy across SACE’s qualifications and has since been expanded to accommodate broader subject coverage and user access needs.
The platform enables real-time data analysis and accessibility tools and is integrated with SACE’s curriculum and marking systems. The organization has reported improvements in assessment adaptability and data handling, citing benefits for both students and educators.
Mark Cook, Chief Executive Officer of RM, says: “Since 2018, we have built a strong partnership with the SACE Board to enable the delivery of digital high stakes exams, and we are delighted to be extending this further. The success of this programme highlights the benefits that our Global Accreditation Platform delivers across the board for learners, educators and awarding bodies and points to the growing momentum behind digital learning and assessment as the future.”
