Alpha School launches $50 million Incept Labs with Titan Holdings aiming to build AI infrastructure for education
Alpha School, a private K-12 schools network, has launched Incept Labs in partnership with AI experts Titan Holdings. The $50 million joint venture aims to build sovereign AI models to support national education systems.
Incept Labs aims to combine Titan Holdings’ AI capabilities with Alpha School’s expertise in learning and education.
"AI allows us to rethink education from first principles," explains Ritankar Das, Founder of Titan Holdings. "With Incept Labs, we're combining Titan's deep AI capabilities with Alpha School's real-world learning expertise to help governments and institutions build education systems that are both locally grounded and globally competitive."
Using Large Language Models (LLMs), Incept Labs will be able to generate complete curricula from scratch, bringing together modern learning science principles to create standards-aligned content that adapts to each student’s individual needs.
"Educating the next generation is society’s most important job," adds Joe Liemandt, Founder of Trilogy Software and Alpha School. "By integrating AI with mastery-based learning science, we can transform education at a national scale, unlocking a country’s greatest untapped resource - human potential."
Incept Labs says it is currently in discussions with government partners, with plans to deploy its first AI curriculum systems in 2026.
Titan Holdings owns a portfolio of AI-native companies and focuses on the use of AI to transform traditional industries. The company’s CEO Das is also Principal at Alpha School, known for its “Two-hour learning” model using AI tutoring and mastery-based progression.
