OpenAI sets out Executive School plans in the Netherlands following kickoff event

OpenAI has outlined its Executive School plans for senior leaders after hosting its first kickoff event in the Netherlands, sharing insights on AI adoption and upcoming sessions.

OpenAI has taken to LinkedIn to detail its first Executive School kickoff in the Netherlands, an event designed to support senior leaders exploring practical applications of AI in their organizations.

Anouk Muis, GTM Lead at OpenAI, shared an overview of the session, which brought together executives from multiple sectors to examine how AI use is evolving and how organizations are approaching early adoption.

The kickoff featured a talk from Jason Kwon, Chief Strategy Officer at OpenAI, who reflected on the direction of AI development and the shift toward more intuitive interaction models. Kwon is quoted as saying: “Our kids will laugh that we once had to click buttons and interact with interfaces to get things done.”

Muis noted that Kwon’s presence in Amsterdam reflects OpenAI’s continued focus on Europe, a theme expanded on by Elke Karskens, Head of International Marketing at OpenAI.

Enterprise adoption and AI literacy highlighted

The event also included a session led by Patrick Mans, Head of Data Science & AI Engineering at Philips. His contribution focused on the challenges of deploying AI in a regulated setting and the early return on investment his teams are observing. Muis wrote that it was “incredibly to see how much he's achieving this fast and how Philips is starting to see concrete examples of real ROI,” adding that his discussion resonated with attendees looking for detailed examples of enterprise-level adoption.

According to OpenAI, the Executive School will continue over the coming month with a series of 30-minute sessions for senior leaders. The program will cover hands-on use cases, strategy frameworks, and enterprise case studies intended to help participants apply ChatGPT and other AI tools within their organizations.

Muis also credited the operational support behind the event, thanking team members involved in coordinating the kickoff. Looking ahead to the rest of the series, Muis added: “I'm looking forward to the coming weeks ahead with a set of great BeNeLux leaders!”
