Japan Preschool Exchange launches Peppa Pig Digital Guide for cultural exchange program
Japan Preschool Exchange (JPE), a cultural exchange program, is inviting families from across the world to experience daily life at Japanese preschools, promoting cross-cultural learning and nature-connected experiences.

JPE partners with 30 preschools across the country that support local sustainability and offer children “unforgettable experiences” that aim to inspire confidence and encourage families to enjoy early childhood.
Families from across the world are invited to join the scheme for one to three weeks. JPE also welcomes applications from school groups.
The program aims to give families a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of Japan, while giving preschool children a chance to explore the outdoors during their early years.
To promote the scheme JPE is working with Hasbro character Peppa Pig. Families who register for the experience between August 2025 and June 2026 will receive a Peppa Pig Welcome Digital Guide including an activity sheet for children.
JPE was founded by current CEO Masaya Yamamoto after he visited a rural preschool in Hokkaido. Since its launch in 2021, JPE has welcomed more than 1,000 participants with 95 percent stating they would return.
