Entries should address:

  • how the tool increases participation, motivation, or active learning

  • the quality, clarity, and usefulness of assessment feedback

  • how data informs instruction, intervention, or student support

  • measurable outcomes linked to engagement, attainment, or confidence

  • user feedback from students, educators, or institutional partners

Strong submissions will show how engagement and assessment insights work together to support progress.

How to strengthen your submission

Entrants are encouraged to outline the research or learning science behind the engagement and assessment design. Judges value clarity around how feedback loops are created and how insights translate into improved practice.

Submissions will be strengthened by:

  • quantitative data showing increased engagement or improved outcomes

  • sample dashboards or insight summaries

  • examples of how educators act on assessment data

  • clear explanations of accessibility, usability, and scalability

  • documented feedback from learners, teachers, or institutions

Case studies showing before-and-after impact will carry particular weight.

To enter, visit the categories page, select Best Student Engagement and Assessment Tool, and complete the form. The entry deadline is Friday, 27 March 2026. The shortlist will be announced on Tuesday, 2 April 2026, and winners will be revealed on Monday, 27 April 2026.

Entry costs £80 per submission, or £150 for two or more entries. Payment can be made via our website. Once your entry form and payment have been received, confirmation will be sent by email.
