Brainly introduces ClarityPods to support student mental health and focus

AI-powered learning platform launches guided mindfulness audio sessions to mark World Mental Health Day.

Brainly has launched ClarityPods, a new library of guided audio sessions designed to help students improve focus, regulate stress, and strengthen resilience. The announcement was shared on social media by CTO Bill Salak and expanded upon in a company blog published on World Mental Health Day.

Salak said in his Linkedin post: “This feature was inspired by our ongoing research and conversations with students, educators, parents, and caregivers - all of whom help us understand where Brainly can have the greatest positive impact.”

Mindfulness sessions developed with mental health experts

The ClarityPods collection was created in collaboration with AnneMarie Rossi of Be Mindful, Dr. Zindel Segal from the University of Toronto, and Dr. Christopher Willard of Harvard Medical School. Each session focuses on short, evidence-based practices tailored to student experiences.

The initial release includes four areas, Focus, Reset, Growth, and Reflection, covering attention, stress management, self-belief, and metacognition. Brainly said the content is intended for use in classrooms or at home as part of a wider “Whole Student” approach that combines academic and emotional learning.

AnneMarie Rossi, Brainly Expert Advisor and Founder of Be Mindful, says: “Mindfulness is the foundation for human flourishing. It strengthens focused attention, emotional regulation, expands awareness of self and others, and ultimately nurtures greater compassion and kindness. We are thrilled to partner with Brainly to deliver these transformative practices to students worldwide so they can thrive academically, personally, and in their relationships with themselves and others.”

Four channels designed to support emotional and academic balance

Each ClarityPod centers on a specific cognitive skill. Focus helps build concentration and study stamina; Reset provides breathing and reframing exercises for managing stress; Grow supports resilience and a growth mindset; and Reflect encourages self-awareness and curiosity-based learning.

Brainly said its goal is to make mindfulness practical and accessible, noting that only one in three U.S. teens has tried it despite research linking the practice to improved learning outcomes and emotional well-being.

The company described ClarityPods as part of its broader mission to “meet students where they are” through tools that combine cognitive science and technology.

Dr. Segal says: “Integrating mindfulness into education and daily life can have profound effects on mental health, resilience and overall well-being. I am excited to see innovative tools like ClarityPods making mindfulness practices accessible and engaging for students.”
