BibliU secures statewide partnership with Kentucky Community and Technical College System

BibliU, a campus store solutions provider, has been chosen by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) to modernize campus store operations and course material delivery across the state.

The partnership covers 16 colleges and more than 70 campuses in Kentucky, supporting more than 110,000 students and covering one of the largest higher education systems in the US.

BibliU will offer a unified bookstore model, offering both on-campus retail and an online store platform. The services will be tailored to the needs of each college’s students.

The agreement will see a major transition across KCTCS’ campuses, which have had a relationship with book retailer Barnes & Noble for the last 20 years.

Students will also be given access to course materials through BibliU Access, ensuring learning resources are delivered on or before the first day of classes. Integrations with the college’s learning management system will also streamline the student experience.

"KCTCS is setting a new standard for how colleges serve their students," says Dave Sherwood, CEO and Co-founder at BibliU. "Their leadership understands that affordability and access go hand in hand with innovation. Together, we’re reimagining the role of the campus store—transforming it from a transactional space into a digital and physical hub that reflects each college’s community and values.”

BibliU provides digital access to textbooks and research materials to more than 150 universities and colleges including Jackson College, Iowa Western Community College and Florida Southwestern State College.

The company says its offer will strengthen financial sustainability and efficiency at KCTCS, helping the institution secure long-term growth and maintaining affordability for its students.
