AppsAnywhere boosts Cloud Delivery to stream complex software on any device in higher ed

AppsAnywhere has expanded its Cloud Delivery platform with Windows ARM support and browser-based streaming, aiming to simplify student and faculty access to academic software.

AppsAnywhere has announced enhancements to its Cloud Delivery and virtualization tools, extending compatibility across Windows, Mac, and student-owned devices.

The update introduces application streaming and support for Windows ARM laptops and tablets, with the goal of reducing friction for students and simplifying access for faculty and IT teams.

The organization provides a student-first platform that centralizes software access for colleges and universities. The company focuses on making academic applications available on or off campus so institutions can support hybrid and bring-your-own-device learning models without relying solely on fixed labs or costly virtual desktop infrastructure.

Nick Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder at AppsAnywhere, says: “This expansion of Cloud Delivery is about one thing: giving students access without limits,” “By adding support for more devices and building smarter controls into the platform, institutions can offer software to every learner,”

The latest Cloud Delivery features makes programs such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SPSS available through a web browser, regardless of device type.

Spencer Vale, Director of Product and Change Management at AppsAnywhere, comments: “Cloud Delivery removes barriers for students—they can instantly launch what they need, on any device, supporting their academic success,” “For students, it’s simple and it works, and our customers’ support teams are pleasantly surprised there’s essentially nothing for them to manage.”
