Transport specialist HopSkipDrive plans expansion into six new states ahead of next school year
HopSkipDrive, which focuses on solving school transportation challenges, has announced its expansion into six new US states.

HopSkipDrive has expanded into San Antonio in Texas and has plans to expand into Maryland, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Oklahoma City, and markets in Florida.
The company says schools in these cities are currently experiencing bus driver shortages and will benefit from its network of drivers.
Schools and districts in these cities will also be supported with access to a new network of vetted drivers, called CareDrivers, in small vehicles. These drivers are local caregivers with at least five years of experience and have completed the HopSkipDrive 15-point certification process.
“Our industry-leading technology and our unwavering commitment to safety — highlighted by our thorough driver vetting — provide parents and schools with peace of mind while addressing the significant transportation needs of the area,” explains Joanna McFarland, CEO and Co-Founder of HopSkipDrive.
“We look forward to continuing our support for the communities in Kansas City, Louisiana, and Virginia Beach, while also expanding our efforts for this back-to-school season. Schools and districts in Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and across Texas will now have access to the ability to quickly and seamlessly book safe, reliable rides for students.”
Earlier this year, HopSkipDrive formed a new dedicated Safety Advisory Council. Insights from the Safety Advisory Council will directly inform product development as the company continues to expand its offering of services for students with specialized transport needs.
