Ricoh UK launches first apprentice board, aiming to bring fresh perspective into strategic decision making
Ricoh UK, a digital services and print provider, has launched a new apprentice board which will act as an advisory body to the company’s executive board.

Made up of eight cohorts selected from Ricoh’s range of apprenticeship programs, the apprentice board aims to highlight young talent and bring fresh new perspectives into its strategic decision making.
Each apprentice board member will be paired with a senior leader from Ricoh’s executive board for mentorship, offering them exposure to leadership development.
Membership to the board will rotate as apprentices complete their programs, ensuring Ricoh has a pipeline of fresh perspectives.
Chris Hopton, CEO of Ricoh UK and Northern Europe, says: “Through the apprentice board, we are placing future leaders at the heart of our business, ensuring their ideas, energy and insights influence our growth vision and strategic direction. It’s a great way to cultivate innovation and fulfil our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels empowered to contribute their perspectives and make things happen.”
